Easy Slow Cooker Chili Recipe

My classic Slow Cooker Chili recipe is hearty, cozy, and so easy to whip up with pantry staples. Simply brown ground beef and onions, then stir them together with canned beans, tomatoes, and spices, and let the slow cooker do the rest! I’ve updated the recipe to add some new tips, plus a few “secret ingredients” you can add to take your chili to the next level.

  1. I wish we had the same grease solidified product Japan does. After you let the grease cool off, pour a packet of the powder in it and it turns the grease into an organic waste product and hat is easily disposed of and it is called fry away grease cooking oil

  2. One can try adding a small can of diced tomatoes about 30 to 45 minutes before the finish. They should cook just enough to keep a nice fresh flavor on top of the richness of the long cook chili.

  4. It is possible that he didn't actually pour the grease down the drain. He maybe had a bowl sitting in the sink into which he poured it .

  5. We like to use a can of good tomato soup in place of tomato sauce for our chili. Always turns out better that way 😊
