Beef short ribs
Ingredients
– 10 ml olive oil
– 1.6 kg beef short rib
– 400 g carrots
– 200 g celery
– 50 g walnuts
– 200 g onion marmalade
– 500 ml ale
– 600 ml water
– Salt and pepper, to season
Method
1. Pre-heat the oven to 150°C.
2. Brown the beef short rib in a pan.
3. In the same pan, sauté the onions and celery with the onion marmalade and walnuts.
4. Add in the ale.
5. Add the beef short ribs back into the pan and cover.
6. Season to taste.
7. Place in the oven and cook for 3 hours, or until tender.
8. Serve with mash.
9. Enjoy!
