🌶️ Quick & Tasty Bharli Mirchi Recipe | Maharashtrian Style with Coconut Masala 🌴
Ingredients:
• 6–8 green chilies (mild, Bhavnagri type)
• 1 cup fresh grated coconut
• 2–3 tbsp roasted peanut powder (optional)
• 1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds (optional)
• 2 tbsp roasted & crushed mustard seeds
• ½ tsp roasted & crushed methi seeds
• 2 tsp goda masala (optional)
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1–2 tsp red chili powder (optional)
• 1 tsp jaggery (optional)
• Salt to taste
• 1–2 tbsp chopped coriander
• (Optional: 1–2 tbsp besan for binding & nutty flavor)
Tempering:
• 2–3 tbsp oil, few curry leaves
Method:
1. Slit and deseed chilies if needed.
2. Mix coconut, sesame, ground mustard and methi seeds, jaggery, coriander (+peanut/besan if using).
3. Stuff mixture into chilies.
4. Heat oil, curry leaves. Place stuffed chilies.
5. Cover, cook 10–12 mins on low flame, turning occasionally. Add leftover masala if any.
6. Garnish with fresh coconut & coriander.
✨ Serve with bhakri, chapati, or dal-rice!
