Chili oil pasta ! Would you guys try this fusion combo ?? Make sure to use a chili oil you like since that’s what the pasta will taste like š¤
Ingredients (1 serving):
⢠75g spaghetti or linguine
⢠2-4 tbsp chili oil ( depends on how spicy you like it )
⢠½ onion, finely sliced
⢠2 cloves garlic, minced
⢠½ cup heavy cream
⢠½ cup reserved pasta water (adjust as needed)
⢠½ tsp paprika
⢠Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Cook your pasta until al dente. Save about ½ cup of the pasta water before draining.
2. In a pan, heat the chili oil over medium heat.
3. Add the onion and garlic, then sautƩ until fragrant and lightly golden.
4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
5. Add in the cooked pasta, then slowly pour in the pasta water a little at a time until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
