This recipe is so easy, comforting and is the perfect base to add your favorite toppings to. We love having it with a peanut butter and syrup sandwich!
I put shredded cheese and sour cream in my chilli. I also cook mine in an insta poti use a can of green chilies and tomatoes with green chilies instead of tomato sauce.
Get yourself a bottle of Habanero Tabasco. It has Tabasco as a base, mango, onion, tamarind, banana, tomato, papaya, and garlic… It's my favorite for chilis, and soups. I have 100's of bottles of hot sauce, but they've been around since 1868.
My family always served celery sticks… some stuffed with cream cheese, some with peanut butter. It was a shock to me when I realized a lot of people serve it with peanut butter foldovers. 😂 I always just thought of celery as the gospel. Or, as my momma always said when she thought she had a handle on the truth; "that's the book of Sharon"

You know I found that yellow corn chips taste great in chili. I usually use saltines, but the corn chips were surprisingly good.

I like to put Red Kidney beans 🫘 in my homemade chili and eat a grilled cheese 🧀 sandwich 🥪 with my homemade chili as well.
