You guys rock the kitchen! 😂❤
I like to use V8 instead of regular tomato juice.
Tom,I tried your chiile and was a little disappointed. I think what the problem was you called for one package of chile seasoning for three pounds of hamburger, normally it calls for one package of seasoning for one pound of hamburger. I love the taste of chile powder, but it just wasn't there,I had too keep adding chile powder but I didn't have enough on hand. The chile overall was good. I would make it again but would use three packages of seasoning. Thank you for great recipes and a fun bunch of videos.
I have to respectfully disagree with folks on the police shout out. I’ve always found them to be less than helpful. I can still remember vividly when my car hydro-planed off the side of the road in heavy rain and they gave me a ticket for reckless driving. My sick cat was in the car and we were on the way to the vet. I was hardly driving reckless. The police officer yelled at me to get off the phone as I was speaking to triple AAA for a tow truck and the operator was apologizing to me for what she overheard the cop yelling at me and couldn’t believe how rudely I was spoken to for no reason. My home was broken into and my wedding rings after being widowed at 32 years old were stolen and they completely botched the investigation and it resulted in nothing after I had a video and the person’s name showing them who broke in. I received another ticket years later for texting and driving at a stop light when I was simply looking at my navigation system to see where my next turn was to donate blood that was in short supply so I took a vacation day to go give only to get a ticket from those who are at times in the most need of the donated blood. I have never donated blood since then because I cannot justify giving blood that may go to help save a police officer that dies not help the public, but instead mistreats them. These are only 3 of SEVERAL examples I have had with law enforcement. Tom and Melissa I am terribly sorry, but although I have loved your channel I hope this is not a trend of trying to now highlight first responders. I know you had the one last week from the retired deputy and now this week we have this one. I am a God fearing person like the 2 of you, but please do no give credit where it is not due. Our law enforcement in this country is a joke at best. I would hate to have to stop watching your channel, which I greatly enjoy, because it has fallen into a pattern of highlighting those who truly do not deserve the recognition. God bless you both, but I am deeply disappointed in the last 2 subscriber recipes as they are focusing on service providers instead of recipes, food and fun as they should be.
Just wanted to let you know we made your minute steak recipe tonight and it was very delicious!
Sounds good. But changing the title to Fire Alarm Chili. Will make this soon.
Thank you! 🖤💙🖤 I always put pinto beans in my chili.
I’m soooo happy to get this recipe. I bet it’s soooo good. I will use fire roasted. Thank you for posting, and thank you to all law enforcement.
Any idea/thoughts why Denise's recipe called for Great Northern Beans rather than Red Kidney Beans in her chili recipe?
It’s been so cold here in northern Minnesota I just had to make this recipe. I made some minor changes but it’s wonderful. Using great northern beans in chili is new and I just realized there is no chili powder in it My green chilies were fire roasted so they were hot I substituted 1/4 tsp of red chilies flakes for the 1 tsp of cayenne since I was out I rinsed the beans out of habit and it was too thin so I thickened it up with 2 tsp of flour and water and I added another tsp of sugar It’ll replace my old recipe. Thanks for posting and God bless.
This sounds delicious!!!
Please add this one to your new cookbook.
Where is the recipe
Try pinto beans for your chili ,I'am from New Mexico and we allways used pinto beans thay are called the bean of the people .
Love the chili. But I cannot take the heat. Had to have some radiation and it made my mouth over sensitive. So I adjust the items that give me grief. I am in North Florida and believe it or not we are going to be below freezing every night this week. So bring on the chili.🙂🙂 P.S. My Dad was a firefighter for 27 years. They have to cook their own meals. Chili is pretty high on the meal list at the firehouse.
Wow multiplies it by 10…….Holy macaroni!!!!!! That's a lot of Chili!!!!! I agree God Bless our police and all other first responders!!!! Looks yummy!!!!!!! Enjoy your movie!!!!
I just wanted to say it was nice meeting you today out in the wild. Even better finding out that both of you are as nice in person as you are online.. Thank you for inviting us into your lives.. Mark
The chili looks delicious 😋 Yum 😋
I'm with Melissa, bring on the movie theater popcorn with extra butter 😋
Chillie without chillie powder. Fail … I cant believe this recipe came from a Texan.
The curiosity in me. Why is your site not named "Come Sit At Our Table"?🙂🙂 Long time follower, recent subscriber.
Congratulations on your you tube award plaque, saw it on your kitchen counter 👏👏👏👏🎬🎬
This recipe looks good. We use white beans in our chili so this would go over good in our home. Thanks for sharing.
Going to try this. looks good. We will add noodles.
Is your Chili recipe in your book?
I just sent this recipe to my son Matt, who is a fireman. They do a lot of cooking meals together. I'm sure this recipe will be a huge hit with the Firemen, first responders!!! Thank you, Tom, and Melissa. I ❤️ your podcasts., ohio. Thank you, Nancy M.
Looks good. I'd put a dot of honey in my bowl for the heat part.
Tom, I love your shirt!
Your chili is simmering on the stove as we speak. My goodness, it smells heavenly! Thank you for sharing!
This sounds great. I am gonna make this for the weekend. Thank you so much. Y'all stay warm!
