Bismillah lamb 🐑 shank recipe



Halal Slow-Roasted Lamb Shanks 🤍🍖
A.K.A. comfort food done right

Ingredients
• 4–6 lamb shanks @saadwholesale
• Salt & pepper (to taste)
• 2 tbsp pomegranate molasses
• 2 tbsp tomato paste
• 3–4 bay leaves
• 1 tsp allspice
• 5 cloves garlic
• Handful parsley
• 1 lemon (zest + juice)
• 1 cup stock chicken or beef (optional for base)

Directions
Wash lamb shanks (salt + vinegar optional). Place in a large pan with a tight-fitting lid or Dutch oven.
Season with all ingredients, seal tightly, and bake.

Bake 4–6 hours depending on size and oven.
Best at 325°F (low & slow).
You can increase to 350–375°F if your oven runs weak or you’re short on time.

Mashed Potatoes 🥔✨

Ingredients
• 3 lbs Yukon gold potatoes (cut into 4, skin on)
• 1 cup heavy cream
• ½ cup butter
• 5 cloves roasted garlic
• Salt to taste
• Chives for topping

Directions
Boil potatoes until fork-tender, drain completely.
Melt butter with garlic until soft, add to potatoes with cream and salt.
Whip until smooth and finish with chives.

Serve warm. Say Bismillah. Enjoy 🤍
