Started from seed indoors last February and transplanted into my garden last May. Was kind of the runt of the litter and didn’t grow much all year. Did not produce any peppers. All my other pepper plants grew quite well and produced abundantly. Felt sorry for it this fall and dug it up and repotted then brought it inside where it happily sits at a south facing window.
It’s grown a bit and will produce flowers but they shrivel up and die right after they start to bloom. I’ve even tried pollinating them by gently rubbing a micro paintbrush inside and moving to other flowers and doing the same but they still shrivel up and die.
I water it about every 10 days and it stays perky.
Some of the leaves look like they are being eaten and sometimes fall off but I can’t find any bugs on them. Could this be why the flowers die too?
What should I do to nurture it back to health and help it produce? Or is it doomed to live out its days in front of a window and barren.
