10 Minute Chilli Beef Fried Noodles ๐Ÿœ

You all loved my fried noodle recipe, and hereโ€™s a version with my sticky chilli beef mince. Packed with protein and honestly, smells like and tastes like you just got a chinese.

Ingredients:
1-2 tbsp sesame oil
500g 5% lean beef mince
2 tbsp dark soy
1 tsp ginger puree
1 tsp garlic puree
2 spring onions, chopped
300g bean sprouts
600g egg noodles

For the sauce:
4 tbsp sweet chilli sauce, reduced sugar
1 tbsp curry powder
1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
150ml chicken stock
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
Black pepper
2 tbsp dark soy sauce

Method:
1. Add your sesame oil to the pan and let that heat up โ€“ add your mince and give it a nice stir and leave it to cook for 3-4 minutes until nice and browned.

2. Once the mince is browned, add your spring onions, garlic, ginger, dark soy sauce and your bean sprouts. Leave to cook for another 2-3 minutes.

3. Add your cooked egg noodles to the pan with your sauce and give it all a good mix. Let the noodles and the sauce heat up and when youโ€™re happy serve, add to a bowl and get stuck in.

  1. Did you add some of the water used to cook the noodles?

    Add some into the sauce when mixing the noodles like one does with pasta water and pasta as the starch acts a binding agent for the sauce to stick with the noodles.

    This looks amazing with the bean sprouts.
