How did Matt prepare baked potatoes ?

I do chili almost exactly the same way. No recipe, just by eye. Pintos instead of kidneys. Heat tempered down for my wife, even though I like it a bit hotter. Same ingredients, except beef instead of deer meat, no brown sugar, and I put a good amount of oregano in it. Thanks, God bless!
Great job Matt. Going to get chili fixβns today. The only thing I wonβt have is a machete to cut the vegetables. Biggest kitchen knife Iβve ever seen!

β€looks delicious. We love chili!!!πβ€β€β€
I make chili like you do and itβs a hit every time
There was a video by a Texan, and he added a packet of brown gravy mix to his tomato sauce based dishes! Said it added a depth of flavor. Think Iβll try that next time when making chili or spaghetti.
Love watching your family from new Zealand
Mattβs Chili looks delicious. What a helpful thing to do. Tipper I know itβs wonderful to have a thoughtful husband. May God bless you and continue to comfort yβall at this time.β€οΈβοΈπ
Is that straight deer meat, or do you add some beef or pork fat to your ground deer? Just curious. We make ours with some added fat.
I was wondering if you needed anything to cut the acidity…never thought of using brown sugar! I will be trying that this year!
Now I want a baked potato! Ms. Cindyβs saying about donβt eat it & donβt talk about it is so polite!π
Hi Matt and Tipper.
Matt you are such a sweet husband, dad and grandpa.
You take such good care of your family.
God bless you all π€π
Your Chilli looked delicious Matt π
I cook my chili much the same way. No recipe, I just go to cooking and adding things as I like. I never used a machete to cut my vegetables up before, but hey if it works, it works. π
So sweet of Matt to be a servant to his wife during such a hard time. As always, makes cooking most anything look unintimidating. Love and prayers for all of you.
That looks so yummy and Matt was so sweet to cook for everyone. If he's not careful everyone is going to see what a softie he is, taking care of his girls .
Matt's chili definitely looks tasty. Being from the same generation, I loved watching him scrape the onions, peppers and meat out of that frying pan. Our depression age parents didn't waste a thing. I usually put my potato in a bowl and put my chili over it and then add some cheese. Thanks for sharing and keep the cooking videos with Matt coming.
Good job ! Matt, that deer chili looks good. Iβm like you, I like a little heat in mine.
You got a big enough k ife there Matt?π

We eat chili with raw veggies, carrots and celery, and frosted cinnamon rolls! Your chili looked so good!
Matt, you might need a bigger knife to cut up that onion π
Love the video and my deepest sympathy to each and everyone of you, on the loss of sweet granny. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
How about Matt's Chop Shop apron? This looks good man. Really
Really good videoβ€!
I love your show. I have a personal question. I'm considering getting a new stove. I saw you had a glass top
Stove. I also have one right now. What made you decide to go with a coil eye. Please don't rush with an answer. You are in morning and I'm so sorry . I lost my mother 66 years ago and I still miss here. Take care of yourself and family. But most at all yourself.
Tipper i was settin here listening to your girls ,i really enjoy their singing they are so talented ,i know your really proud of them
Matt, was waiting for you to put chili powder in it! There ya go! π
I love deer meat!
So sweet that Matt is taking care of you Tipper during this difficult time. So sorry for the loss of your granny.
Matt makes chili exactly like I make my chili. I always use pinto beans. I cook a big pot of pinto beans and cornbread. The next day I make chili and use leftover pinto beans. I also use my canned tomatoes and one can of tomato sauce. All the same spices. The only difference is I don't put the sugar in mine. I have no recipe just my own additions. Great pot of chili Matt!!! So-ooo sorry about sweet Granny.
The best meals are made without following a recipe. I make chili the same way. Great tip on freezing minced garlic.
I love watching Matt cook. I also really love cooking with ground venison! Now Iβm going to have to make some chili. Thanks for sharing this video!
I grew up eating Chili always w/Cornbread. Never had it w/baked potatoes before…but sounds good & very filling.
Looks great!! I almost throw my wifeβs corned beef hash when she forces me to cook it !!
