Hey all! It’s been about a month since I first germinated seeds for this season! (My first time growing from seed) wanted to post just to add to the fun of this time of growing season, as well as get some advice about when to up pot again.
For context, I have been out of the country for two weeks so I decided to up pot to the 3.3 inch pots earlier than I would have, because I didn’t want to let the seed cells get root bound before I returned. My wife has bottom watered a couple of times in my absence.
For those with more experience, I notice that my jalapeño seedlings are taco-ing a bit. I try to rotate and rearrange my seedlings to account for lighting hot spots. Is a bit of tacoing ok? My lights are already at maximum height and minimum intensity (measures between 5-15k lux depending on the area). Also trying to decide when to harden them off, and which ones I should leave in the grow tent for longer. Obviously, the super hots are taking more time.
Overall, this has been a really fun season so far and I am learning a ton!
