Golden Hour Chili
Ingredients
– 2 cups of Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Mix
– 1 onion, chopped
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp minced garlic
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 can drained beans
– 1 can drained corn
– 1 sweet potato, chopped
– optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, green onion
Instructions
Build the base:
Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent. Stir in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Cook the protein:
Add the ground meat and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and fully cooked through.
Layer in the goodness:
Stir in the beans, corn, and sweet potato, making sure everything is evenly combined.
Pour in the sunshine:
Add 2 cups Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Mix and stir well. Bring the chili to a gentle simmer.
Simmer & brighten:
Reduce heat to low and let simmer uncovered for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sweet potatoes are tender and the flavors come together.
Season to shine:
Stir in 2 teaspoons Natural Blonde Bloody Mary Mix salt rimmer. Taste and adjust-add more if you like extra heat or savory punch.
Serve warm:
Ladle into bowls and finish with your favorite toppings. A final pinch of rimmer on top is always encouraged.
