Decided to sow mortgage lifter tomatoes and ají amarillo peppers together not expecting them to look alike. I’ll end up transplanting them once I see a set of true leaves.
Cotyledons look very similar, tomato stems might be slightly furry
Otherwise wait for the first leaves and it’ll be very apparent

prob the smaller ones are peppers but you won’t know for sure till it grows more. You have a good amount of room so they can get a couple leaves before you need to move them

The more tapered/pointy cotyledons are peppers. If you can’t tell the difference, wait for the first set of true leaves. And tomatoes will grow faster.
