Peppers Piemontese

Fried Peppers – Piedmont style! I love fried peppers – they’re a great addition to an antipasto and delicious when added to a juicy grilled burger. Join me in my kitchen as I make them here. Buon Appetito!

  1. A friend of mine makes a similar dish except he uses hot and sweet peppers along with olive oil and anchovy. We usually each the peppers between two slices of Italian bread sort of like a sandwich.

    It's very good.

  2. I do bruschetta in the sandwich/panini press. It turns great. I first brush with a mixture of garlic and olive oil. I don’t have a gas stove at my place so I have to think about how to char peppers ( I usually buy the Spanish pre done peppers).
