A bunch of leaves turned yellow and dropped and the new growth is… weird? A few of my other pepper plants are growing only like the bottom half of this one. Super tiny.. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong here? Zone 10a, San Diego.

Probably a lack of nutrients. Have you used any fertilizer?Those are small pots for the peppers to grow fruit.
Those are considered slow feeding fertilizers. They break up over a long time. I recommend a liquid fertilizer diluted with water for better absorption.
