Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta 🍝🧀full recipe in the description 🫶🏻 #chicken #pasta #dinner #lunch



Ingredients:
1½ chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ red bell pepper, sliced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup pasta water (reserved)
½ cup chicken broth
1 tbsp lemon juice
½ cup grated parmesan
2 tbsp fresh basil
8 oz rigatoni (or any pasta)

Instructions:
-Cook pasta in salted water. -Reserve ¼ cup pasta water before draining.

In a small bowl, mix:
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne

-Divide seasoning in half.
-Season chicken with half of the seasoning mixture.
-Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. -Remove and cut into cubes.
-In the same pan, add butter, onion, garlic, and red bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
-Add remaining seasoning, chicken broth, heavy cream, pasta water, and lemon juice. -Simmer 3–4 minutes.
-Stir in parmesan and basil. Let sauce thicken for 2–3 minutes.
-Add chicken back to the pan, then add pasta. Toss until well coated.
-Serve with extra parmesan, fresh basil and enjoy 🫶🏻

  2. No, def no. U have to put the pasta before that it’s cooked in the pan where you’re doing the cajun sauce, you have to “risotte it” in that pan until it’s cook.
