One pan dinner recipe #recipe #onepandinner #easyrecipe #weeknightdinners

Easy one-pan sausage orzo dinner that came together so easily

Here’s exactly how I made it.

Ingredients
1 block Boursin cheese
1 bag of orzo pasta (16 oz)
3 cups chicken stock
(or 3 cups water + 3 teaspoons Better Than Bouillon)
1½ cups heavy cream
Fresh spinach
Sausage
Chicken (optional)
Parmesan cheese

Seasonings (eyeball)
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt
Red pepper flakes
Oregano
Tony’s seasoning (for the chicken)

Instructions
1. In a baking dish add the Boursin cheese and orzo.
2. Add tomatoes
3. Pour in the chicken stock and heavy cream.
4. Season the orzo mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, red pepper flakes, and oregano (I just eyeballed it).
5. Add fresh spinach on top.
6. Cover and bake at 400°F for about 40 minutes.
While that’s baking:
• Bake your sausage in the oven (mine was done around 30 minutes so just keep an eye on it).
• Season chicken with onion powder, garlic powder, and Tony’s seasoning and cook separately. (this is optional if you want more protein)
Once the orzo is done baking:
1. Stir everything together.
2. Add the cooked sausage, chicken, and parmesan cheese.
3. Return to the oven uncovered for another 5 minutes.

This is Creamy, comforting, and a really easy dinner for a busy night.

Save this if you want to try it.

  1. Looks great can you post the recipe. I have eaten risotto, but never cooked risotto. 😊

  2. That brittle spinach has no nutrients left 😂😂 maybe leafy greens go in AFTER BAKING because bright greens are healthy black spinach is dead
