**Dhokla Sandwich Recipe with Ingredients (Short Version)** 🥪

**Ingredients**

*For the Batter:*

* 1 cup **besan (gram flour)**
* ½ cup **sooji (semolina)**
* Salt to taste
* 1 pinch **turmeric powder**
* 1 spoon **sugar**
* 1 spoon **ghee**
* Water as required
* 1 **ENO fruit salt**

*For the Filling:*

* 1 **capsicum (chopped)**
* 1 **onion (chopped)**
* 1 **tomato (chopped)**
* 2–3 spoons **sweet corn**
* 1 spoon **mustard seeds**
* 1 **green chilli (chopped)**
* **Chilli flakes & oregano**
* Salt and **black pepper**
* 1–2 spoons **pizza/pasta sauce**
* Few drops **soy sauce**
* 1 spoon **ghee**

*Other:*

* **Bread slices**
* **Red chutney**

*For Tempering:*

* 1 spoon **ghee**
* 1 spoon **mustard seeds**
* Few **curry leaves**
* 1 spoon **sugar**, pinch **salt**
* Juice of **½ lemon**

### Method

1️⃣ Mix **besan, sooji, salt, turmeric, sugar and water** to make a smooth batter. Add **ghee** and rest for **10–15 minutes**.

2️⃣ Heat **ghee**, add **mustard seeds and green chilli**. Add **capsicum, onion, tomato, corn**, then **salt, pepper, herbs, sauce and soy sauce**. Cook **2 minutes**.

3️⃣ Cut **bread slices in round shape** and place in a bowl. Add the **veggie filling** on top.

4️⃣ Add **ENO** to the batter, mix and pour over the bread and filling.

5️⃣ **Steam for 10–15 minutes** until cooked.

6️⃣ Prepare tempering with **ghee, mustard seeds, curry leaves, sugar, salt and lemon juice** and pour over the dhokla.

7️⃣ Cut into **two pieces** and serve with **red chutney**.
