Red Pepper Sausage Rolls
Season 2kg chicken mince with:
Salt,
pepper,
Aromat,
garlic powder
garlic & ginger paste.
Mix well and divide into 4 portions. This becomes your base for four different meals across the week.
For these Red Pepper Sausage Rolls:
Take ¼ of the mixture (makes around 16 sausage rolls).
Add:
• 2 tbsp red pepper paste
• 1 heaped tbsp oregano
Mix well, then pipe onto 2 packets ready-rolled puff pastry.
Cut into logs, snip the tops, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Perfect for iftar and even better because you can freeze them and bake whenever you need something quick and comforting.
