How to cook a chili con carne at home.

Sharing to you how to cook a chili con carne at home with limited ingredients.

Ingredients:
– 3 cloves garlic
– 1 pc onion (medium size)
– 1 stalk celery
– 1 pc tomato
– 1 can kidney beans
– oil for frying
– salt
– pepper
– cayenne pepper
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 tbsp liquid seasoning
– 500 g ground pork
– 1/2 cup water

Procedure:
– Saute the garlic, onion
– then add the tomato, celery, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, sugar, liquid seasoning. Stir for 5 – 10 mins
– then add the ground pork
– add 1/2 cup water
– let it boil then cover
– reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until the meat is done.
– stir in the kidney beans and let it simmer for another 5 minutes
– continue simmering and stir occasionally until the sauce thickens
– add additional chili powder if desired.

Tips:
– Normally ground beef is used for chili con carne, in making this video, ground pork is available in our fridge
– Instead of cayenne pepper you may use chili powder and you may put as many as you want
– You may also add other spices like oregano, cumin seeds and red pepper sauce
