
Had some leftover rice so I decided to make some fried rice today. Decided it was the perfect opportunity to open the La Pimenterie Gochuracha I got. It's supposed to be a mix between Gochujang paste & Sriracha. I still got an open bottle of the classic Sriracha with the green lid and that's the standard I compare it to. Flavorwise it's definitely more on the Gochujang side and I like that. You can get a decent fermented taste. Very sweet, slightly sour, not a lot of heat. I'd say it's milder than the OG Sriracha. Wouldn't bother me too much, cause I can easily change that, but I'm really missing the garlic flavor. It's a decent sauce, but I probably won't buy it again.
