



For reference, these little sprouts are scotch bonnets, and the last photo is of a few ahi chinchi Amarillo’s I left together in the same sized bucket – planted from seed in the bucket around August and just let them do their thing, then snipped two of the 5 that grew after they got tall, and have three left seemingly doing fine, but wanted to see what others have experienced. I hate culling and figured I’d leave the Ahi’s alone just to see how it goes for my own hands-on education, but the little twins are from my favorite scotch bonnet which didn’t quite make it through the winter and they were delicious so I want to have a strong crop this year.
