🧾 Ingredients:
• Whole black gram (sabut urad dal) – 1 cup
• Kidney beans (rajma) – ¼ cup
• Butter – 3 tbsp
• Fresh cream – ½ cup
• Tomato puree – 1 cup
• Onion (finely chopped) – 1
• Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
• Green chilli – 1 (chopped)
• Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Turmeric – ½ tsp
• Garam masala – 1 tsp
• Kasuri methi – 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Water – as needed

👨‍🍳 Method:

1️⃣ Soak & Cook
• Soak dal + rajma overnight.
• Pressure cook with salt & water for 6–8 whistles until soft.

2️⃣ Prepare Base
• Heat butter in a pan.
• Add onion, sauté till golden.
• Add ginger-garlic paste & green chilli → cook till aromatic.

3️⃣ Tomato Magic
• Add tomato puree + salt.
• Cook until oil separates (very important for flavor).

4️⃣ Spice It
• Add turmeric, red chilli powder & mix well.

5️⃣ Slow Cooking
• Add cooked dal with water.
• Simmer on low flame for 30–40 minutes (stir occasionally).
👉 The longer it cooks, the better the taste!

6️⃣ Creamy Finish
• Add cream + butter.
• Crush kasuri methi and add.
• Finish with garam masala.

🔥 Chef Michael Tip:
• Add a small piece of charcoal + ghee for dhungar (smoky flavor) 🤤
• Always cook on low flame for that authentic hotel taste.

🍽️ Serving:

Serve hot with:
• Butter naan
• Jeera rice
• Laccha paratha
