Trying to figure out where (or if) I went wrong here. This is my first time growing anything and admittedly I didn’t do a whole lot of research, as when I take up a new thing I tend to go hard into the research and get paralyzed by all the info.
Anyway I think I started my plants too late. I think I started these in mid march (I’m in zone 6). I used some seed starting mix at first, then once the roots filled the vessel they were in, transferred to these beer cups with drainage holes in the bottom. Soil is a mix of Miracle grow potting mix, manure, worm castings and a bunch of perlite. They are under 2 rows of LED grow lights (don’t know any info about the lights) that my wife uses for houseplants.
I thought they would be further along than they currently are so maybe someone here can tell me if I went wrong anywhere other than the timing (next year I plan to start in January).
A few other questions I have:
-Is my soil composition adequate?
-Do I watch for some kind of visual indicator as to when to start feeding them or should I already be feeding them? Some of the leaves are a little pale but I think that started before I repotted …
-My plan for hardening is 1 hour for a couple days, then 2 hours, then 4, then repot and full move them outside

Maybe a little late and don’t know what climate u have (UK based). I would start feeding them now but start them with around a 1/3 to half recommended and work your way up, also get some silica as it promotes healthy cell growth making your stems stronger 👌
Soil should be ok, I use 60% compost to 40% Coco 70/30 with perlite
Once they’re about 6 inches I’d top them aswell
Happy growing
