Aah Chili Oil. I use it for literally everything. On top of rice, add flavour to dishes, noodles, grease door hinges, face lotion. K fine joking but it’s super versatile and a must to have if you like all tings spppiicccyyy.

ingredients:
– 1 cup Chili Flakes – Sichuan Chili Flakes would be authentic, I used Gochugaru or Korean Red Pepper Flakes. I usually use Thai chili flakes which is a lot spicier but I’m running out š I mixed it into my second jar though. You can also use Pepperoncino.
– 2 cups Neutral Tasting Oil
– 1 Cinnamon Stick
– 3 Star Anise
– 5 Clove
– 7-8 cardamom
– 3 tbsp Sichuan Peppercorns
– 2 Bay Leaf
– 2 tsps Salt
