We saw the announcement that McDonald’s is finally releasing their Spicy Chicken McNuggets and a new “hottest” dipping sauce called Mighty Hot Sauce this week.
The biggest thing that stood out about the new sauce is the presence of sugar before peppers and then the addition of oleoresin capsicum in the sauce.
**Full ingredient list:** water, vinegar, sugar, chili peppers, cayenne red peppers, salt, apricot concentrate, garlic, corn starch, contains 2% or less: spices, xantham gum, natural flavors, soybean oil, **oleoresin capsicum**, garlic powder, preservatives (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate), yeast extract.
