Keto Chili Recipe
This Keto Chili is keto friendly it has no beans in it, its low carb, and super easy to make. We served it with cauliflower rice.
Ingredients
1 lb hamburger meat
3/4 lb top round steak
1-2 smoked sausages
1/2 chopped onion
2 cloves of garlic chopped
1 tbs salt
3/4 tbs pepper
2 tbs chili powder
1 tbs cumin
1 tbs paprika
1 tbs oregano
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
14 oz can diced tomatoes
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 tbs tomato paste
2 cups beef broth
1 tbs sugar substitute
served with cauliflower rice, cheddar cheese, jalapenos and sour cream.
Take your steak and sausage and dice them up into small bite sized pieces. Add that to a skillet over high heat with your hamburger meat. Season with Salt and Pepper and cook until meat is cooked through about 4-5 minutes. Once cooked add to a larger pan if this pan isn’t big enough and drain any excess fat. To the skillet add your chopped onion and cook for 2 mins during the last 30 seconds add your garlic then add to your pot of meat. Add your seasonings chili powder, cumin, paprika and oregano and combine. Over a medium heat add in your crushed and diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and paste along with the beef broth and sugar substitute and combine. Lower heat to low and cook covered for an hour. After an hour your chili is technically finished if you would like to reduce it more you can. I continued to cook mine for another 2 and half hours one hour with the lid on and one and a half hours with the lid vented.
