To Make Masala Chai

Chai Masala Powder
Water – 1 Cup
Tea Granules – 2 Tsp
Milk – 1 Cup
Sugar – 2 Tsp

METHOD:
1. To make the chai masala powder, add dry ginger, cardamom, cloves cinnamon, peppercorns and grind everything together.
2. Boil water in a saucepan and add chai masala powder. Boil for 1 minute.
3. Add tea granules and let it boil for 2 minutes.
4. Add milk and boil for 2-3 minutes.
5. Finally add sugar and mix well.
6. Strain the tea and serve it hot.

To Make Bajji

Gram Flour – 2 Cup
Rice Flour – 1/4 Cup
Kashmiri Chili Powder – 3 Tsp
Salt – 1 Tsp
Asafoetida Powder – 1/4 Tsp
Water
Oil For Deep Frying
Plantain
Banana Pepper (Bajji Chilli)

Method
Peel and cut the plantain into thin slices
Slit the banana pepper
In a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, kashmiri chilli powder, salt, asafoetida powder and mix well
Add water gradually and mix well
Heat some oil for deep frying
Dip the plantain slices in the batter and drop it gentlyu into the hot oil
Dip the slit banana pepper into the batter and gently drop it into the hot oil
Deep fry the bajjis till they are golden brown on both sides
Serve the bajjis hot with some coconut chutney by the side
