OVERNIGHT at THE LEAN TO! Starting the roof/CAMPFIRE Dutch Oven CHILI with homemade bacon & sausage

I love seeing the progress on the lean to. It is rewarding in so many ways. I now have the first logs in place for the overhang, which really gives me an idea of what this is going to look like.My cousin Chris came over for the evening to hang out, and he helped me get the roof started! An extra set of hands is nice. Now The project is really starting to look like something! Dina , Hayden and the dogs joined us for a little while as well. Some campfire cooking to seal the deal. Chili in a dutch oven! Made with home cured bacon and homemade sausage from our pigs that we raised and processed. Absolutely delicious for a cold night! Campfire cooking, Perfection. ! Does it get any better?!?!?!
I spent the night under the structure out in the open, on my Eureka camping cot, with my Outdoor Vitals 0degree Summit sleeping bag, The temperature got down to 30 degrees and I was snug as a bug. It all made for a good time out in the woods. I hope you enjoy the video.
