8 HOUR CROCKPOT CHILI | HOW TO COOK HOMEMADE CHILI | EASY FAMILY MEALS | SOUTHERN SUNDAY MEALS

Heyyyy ya’ll! Welcome back to another episode of “Southern Sunday Meals.” Today, we are making some chili in the infamous crockpot. I purchased this crockpot from my local Walmart on rollback for $19.97. All of ingreidents came from my local Walmart as well. This recipe is very simple and easy to make. I will post my recipe down below. Feel free to add/remove anything to make it your own. I hope you all enjoy it! Stay tuned for the next video!

1 pack of ground chuck
1 can of dark red kidney beans
1 can of chili beans
1 can of black beans
1 chili seasoning packet (I prefer low sodium)
1 can of Rotel Chili fixins’
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
2 teaspoons of hot sauce
1 chopped yellow onion
1 cup of water (You may add more depending on the size of your crockpot)
Seasoning salt, black pepper, garlic powder for taste.

1.) Brown your ground chuck mixed with the yellow onion until cooked. Add the following seasonings, Seasoning salt, black pepper, garlic powder.
2.) Drain meat and set aside.
3.) Add kidney beans, black beans, chili beans and meat mixture to the crockpot.
4.) Stir ingredients together.
5.) Add minced garlic, hot sauce, chili seasoning packet, and water.
6.) Turn crockpot on and select low temp for 8 hours.
7.) Allow chili to cool before serving.

You can add any type of side or condiments to your chili! Best to enjoy on a cold, winter night or for any occasion.
