My turkey chili recipe in a crockpot is super easy and simple. This is the perfect crockpot chili recipe for the upcoming holidays and winter. All the ingredients can be prepared the night before and throw everything in the crockpot in the morning and have the best turkey chili for lunch or dinner. Crockpot meals are the easiest way to prepare a meal when you are busy especially with Christmas right around the corner. Chili is the perfect comfort food during the cold season. I used ground turkey to make my turkey chili recipe. Depending on the cans of beans, corn and broth or stock you use will determine your seasoning for salt. Salt and pepper to your liking. Turkey Chili Recipe:
28 ounce (or 2 cans of 14 ounce) of diced tomatoes
15.5 ounce kidney beans (drain and rinse before adding to crockpot)
15 ounce black beans (drain and rinse before adding to crockpot)
15 ounce corn (drain and rinse before adding to crockpot)
16 ounce chicken bone broth or stock
1 lbs ground turkey, cook before adding to crockpot
1 TBS cooking oil
1 small white/yellow onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 small orange bell pepper, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 TBS tomato paste
2 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp oregano powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
***Salt & pepper to your liking. It will depend if you use no salt, salt, or low sodium diced tomatoes, broth or stock and beans.
