Bruce Frederick – “John’s Truckin Chili”
INGREDIENTS:
1.5 lbs. Ground Beef, Ground Pork, Italian Sausage and Hot Italian Sausage
2 White Onions
1 Head Garlic
2 Celery
1 Bell/Ancho
7 Serrano Peppers
4 Jalapeno
4 Chipotle
2 14oz Diced Tomatoes
1 6oz Tomato Paste
1 8oz Tomato Sauce
1 14oz Beef Broth
1 Bouillon Cube
2 Dark Red Kidney
1 Light Red Kidney
1 Black Negro
2 Pinto
2 Mexican
4Tb-Cilantro
4Tbl-Italian Parsley
4Tbl-Basil
4Tbl-Chili Powder
3Tbl-Cumin
1Tbl-Cayenne
1Tbl-Smoked Paprika
1Tbl-Oregano
2-Bay Leaves
1tsp-Accent
1-Guinness Beer
1-Hershey Chocolate Bar
PREP THE INGREDIENTS:
• Get to chopping all of the vegetables to about ¼ inch squares.
(I wear gloves so my hands are not on fire!)
• Brown all of the meat.
• In another frying pan, sauté onions, garlic, celery and bell pepper, until
translucent.
• In a large crockpot add all of the ingredients
• Last hour add the Chocolate Bar.
