This cozy chili recipe is perfect for any winter night! It’s healthy, hearty and veggie packed! With a tang from the lime and a punch from the spicy pork sausage – you will want more and more leftovers! This recipe lasts my husband and I around 3 meals each so it’s perfect for meal prep or a big family dinner. Enjoy!

✰ cozy chili recipe ✰
Ingredients
* 1tsp coconut oil
* 1/2 chopped yellow onion
* 1/2 chopped green bell pepper
* 1/2 chopped red bell pepper
* 4 garlic cloves, minced
* 1/2 TB Chipotle powder
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1/2 lb spicy ground pork sausage
* 1 TB chili powder
* 1 TB cumin
* 1 tsp dried oregano
* 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
* 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
* 1/2 tsp pepper
* 28oz can crushed tomatoes
* 28oz can black beans (or beans of choice)
Instructions
1. melt coconut oil in large pot over medium heat, sauté onions and bell peppers for 5-10 minutes
2. Stir in garlic and chipotle powder for 1 minute until fragrant
3. Add beef and sausage, cook until browned (10-12 minutes)
4. Add remaining ingredients (spices, beans, tomatoes)
5. Stir, bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to low
6. Let flavors develop for 10 minutes
7. Serve with your favorite toppings (sour cream, avocado, chives, lime, cheese, cilantro, salsa, red onion, WHATEVER YOU LIKE!)
