Beef Chili – MaxLiving – Advanced Plan
Recipe from MaxLiving e-book that was released in Jan 2021 with our 45 Day Challenge
1 lb Grass Fed Ground Beef
1 T Ghee (or Coconut Oil)
1 Yellow Onion (Chopped)
1 Red Bell Pepper (Chopped)
3 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
2 T Tomato Paste (or more)
2 T Chili Powder
1 T Cumin
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1 Tomato (Chopped)
1 Cup Chicken Broth (or Bone Broth)
SautƩ ground beef and drain excess drippings.
Remove beef from sautƩ pan so that you can sautƩ the onions, pepper, and garlic in the 1 T Ghee (or coconut oil). SautƩ until onions are translucent. Add the tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, and salt. Add back in the beef and together for another minute. Then add the tomato and chicken broth. Stir. Simmer on stove on low (or use pressure cooker for 20 min).
Serve chili & enjoy!
I like adding a few slices of avocado on top of my chili!
