SPICY CHILI COOK WITH ME!!
Making a spicy WEIGHT WATCHERS friendly chili without using a chili seasoning packet (like Chili-O). This chili turned out so tasty, but it was VERY spicy. My kids (Especially my son) typically don’t mind spicier foods, but this was so spicy that I defiantly would not have fed it to them. Like I mentioned in this video, you could totally tone down the spicy by omitting the Cayenne pepper and swapping out the diced tomatoes with Jalapeños for just a plain can of tomatoes or some tomatoes that have other chili seasonings in them. If you don’t already have these spices and want to make this recipe just a little bit simpler, you can skip the spices and just use some Chili-O or another chili seasoning. Keep in mind that if you choose to make your chili the way that I did in this video, then you’ll need ALOT of chili powder and cumin! When making recipes like this I don’t measure out the spices, I will typically just “eye-ball it” and season it to my desired taste!!
What I used:
1 pound package 99% fat free ground turkey (you could use any kind of ground meat)
1 can black beans
1 can pinto beans
2 cans diced tomatoes with Jalapeños
chili powder
cumin
cayenne pepper
onion powder
paprika
truvia
salt
pepper
1 box salad rotini
Please let me know if you tried this recipe!! If you did, how did it turn out for you? Did you do anything differently? If so, I would love to hear about it!!
