First rule of flying #354: Take care of your co-pilot!
It is winter in Northern Nevada and frozen water falling out of the sky tends to spoil the lift. So… I’m staying (way too) busy packing and unpacking, and enjoying the idea that I have somebody to cook for now!
While I dug out the 1974 recipe for my Dad’s Five-Alarm Chili, Firebird did something amazingāhe changed the oil in my 2013 Chevrolet Volt. Yes, the electric car still needs its oil changed, and apparently it REALLY needed it. A trip to the auto parts store for a new oil plug (apparently the aluminum plug on the Volt is really soft, and the kid at the dealership over-torqued it last year, oops…)
