Potato and cabbage vegetable Serves 4.
1 cabbage (sliced very thin)
3 large potatoes (cut in ½ inch cubes)
4 tablespoons ghee
1 small chili (diced finely)
1 table spoon black mustartd seeds
¼ teaspoon turmeric
1 table spoon coriander powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon turbinado sugar
1 small slice of lemon
Procedure
In a pan heat ghee, mustard seeds, chili, and turmeric. When mustard seeds start to crackle add potatoes. Stir for 8minutes on medium heat. Add cabbage and cook for 15more minutes until cabbage and potatoes are both tender. Add salt, coriander powder, and turbinado sugar. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Serve hot.
