๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ ๐: Bangladeshi born, Queens, NY native cook, Dulal Bhowmik, takes us through โChicken Do Pyazaโ.
๐๐๐๐ข๐ฉ๐:
1. Heat up about 3 tablespoons of oil in a deep pan, leave on medium heat
2. Saute 1 tsp of whole cumin with 2 bayleaves
3. Saute your diced and marinated chicken for about 3-5 mins until the color is a bit brown
4. Take out your chicken, add your onions, saute that, then put your chicken back in
5. Add your tomatoes, sauce for a bit
6. Begin adding your spices: 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp coriander powder
7. Saute it all until your oil begins to separate from your chicken (thatโs how you know that the masala has been cooked(
8. Add 1/2 tsp of garam masala
9. Continue to mix – add a handful of cilantro/coriander for garnish, a few green chili peppers (optional)
10. Serve with rice
