ingredients
450g boneless chicken
2 eggs
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt or as desired
1/4 cup corn flour
2 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp green chilli paste
1 onion cut into cubes
1 green bell pepper
3 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp schezwan sauce (or use 1 tsp chilli paste and 2 tbsp chilli garlic sauce)
red food color
2 tbsp corn flour mixed with water or as needed to make gravy
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/2 cup chopped green onion
Directions:
Mix chicken, eggs, red chilli powder, salt and corn flour together. Deep fry the chicken. In a pot add ginger and garlic paste. Saute for few seconds. Add onion and green bell pepper. Saute for a min or so. Add soy sauce and schezwan sauce (or chilli paste and chilli garlic sauce). If you want indo chinese chilli chicken taste then i highly recommend you use indian schezwan sauce. I am using ching’s brand. Add red food color. Add fried chicken. Mix everything together. Add cornflour and water for gravy. Top it off with coriander leaves and green onion. Serve with Rice.
