Chili Mushrooms – Chinese Recipes #17 | SG World of Cooking

Ingredients:

For batter:
All purpose flour – 1/2 cup
Cornflour – 1/2 cup
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce – 1/2 tsp

Mushrooms – 2 cups

Canola Oil – 2 tbsp
Garlic – 1 tbsp
Green chili – 1
Dry red chili – 1
Onion, petals – 1 cup
Red & green capsicum – 1 cup
Tomato Ketchup – 2 tsp
Green chili sauce – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – 1 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper – 1/2 tsp

Instructions:
1. Add corn flour, all purpose flour, salt, pepper, soy sauce to a bowl and mix. Add water to make a thick batter.
2. Add mushrooms to the batter and deep fry till crispy. Keep aside.
3. Add canola oil to a pan and add garlic and chilies. Saute for 3-4 minutes.
4. Add onions and capsicum and saute for 2 minutes.
5. Add the sauces, salt and pepper and saute for 2 minutes.
6. Add the fried mushrooms and mix well.
7. Serve hot.
