15 oz (about 2 cups) vegetable broth (low sodium)
Optional: 1 tbsp of unrefined brown sugar (or date, coconut)

Add broth/water/or oil to a pot and add onion sautƩ until translucent , add green pepper and sautƩ. Add ground meat/substitute, cook until browned or warmed through a little, add spices to toast a little. Then add the rest of ingredients. Add an extra half to a cup of broth if you like your chili less thick. Cook on low for about 45 min to an 1 hour stirring once or twice. 1 hour makes the perfect chili for me! Enjoy!
