Chili Chicken Dry Recipe by Maithilee

Cant think of an easy chili chicken recipe…… here is one and trust me its amazing and super easy….
Ingredients:
For chicken marination:
500grams chicken breast- cut into bite size small pieces.
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2tsp black pepper powder
2 tbsp corn starch/ cornflour
1tbsp all purpose flour
1egg white
oil for frying the chicken.

For the sauce :
2 tbsp oil
1tbsp finely chopped ginger garlic
2 green chilies cut into 2-3 pieces.
2tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp red chili sauce
1tbsp green chili sauce
1tbsp tomato ketchup
1tbsp schezwan chutney/ sauce
1 tsp vinegar
2tbsp cornstarch +4tbsp water
1 green bell pepper and 1 red/ yellow bell pepper
1 small baby onion
1 cup spring onions
1 cup spring onion leaves
white sesame seeds for garnish

1-Mix all the chicken and marination and keep aside for 30min.
2-Deep fry the chicken and keep aside.
3-In a wok add some oil and sautƩ the ginger, garlic and green chilies.
4-then add the onions, bell peppers, spring onions and saute.
5-add all the sauces and mix.
6-over this add the cornstarch+water mix and let the sauce thicken.
7-add the fried chicken to the sauce and mix nicely.
8-at the end add the spring onion leaves mix and serve.
9-Garnish with finely chopped spring onions and sesame seeds.
Tip: if you want more gravy you can make the cornstarch mix a little more watery.
