Paneer Lababdaar is another comfort food that is authentic Punjabi accompaniment with a luscious combination of paneer and creamy gravy. Tastes best with Naan, Laccha paratha.
Ingredients-
Paneer-200gm( cut in cubes)
Tomato(roughly chopped)-4 medium
Onion(finely chopped) -1
Cloves-2
Green cardamom-2
Dalchini-1″
Bayleaf-1
Black cardamom-1
Cashew-7-8
Jeera-1tsp
Dry red chili’s-2
Ghee-1tsp
Giner-garlic paste-1tsp
Red chili powder-1tsp
Dhania powder-1tsp
Haldi-1tsp
Garam masala powder-1tsp
Cream-2tbsp
Salt-as per taste
Oil-3tsp
Water-1glass
Kasuri methi-1tsp
Honey-1tsp
Green coriander leaves- for garnish
Method-
1-In a kadhai, heat 1 tsp oil, add jeera and let it crackle.
2- Add all the khada masala, dry red chili, tomatoes, cashew, and mix well.
3-Add half of the water, cover and cook till the tomatoes are completely soft. Cool and blend it smooth.
4-Heat oil and ghee in a kadhai. Add bay leaf and chopped onions. Fry till light in color.
5-Mix the ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes.
6-Pour the blended masala and fry for 1 minute. Add Haldi, dhania powder, red chili powder, and water. Cook for 1 minute.
7-Add Kasuri methi, namak, garam masala powder, paneer, and honey. Cover and cook for 1 more minute.
