Street style Chilli Mushroom is a spicy and delicious #ChineseStarter. This #ChilliMushroom is made using mushroom, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, and bell peppers. Chilli Mushroom Recipe:
Mushroom – 400g
Soy Sauce – 1½ tbsp
Maida – 1 tbsp
Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
Water – ½ Cup
Oil – 3 tbsp + For Deep Frying
Onion (Diced) – 1 no
Capsicum (Diced) – 1 no
Green Chilli (Chopped) – 2 nos
Dry Red Chilli – 2 nos
Soy Sauce – 1 ½ bsp
Tomato Ketchup – 2 tbsp
Corn Starch – 1 tbsp
Coriander Leaves (Finely Chopped) – 2 Stalks
Cooking Instructions:
1. Cut Mushrooms into halves, add soy sauce, maida, corn flour and water and mix it till it coats evenly.
2. Heat oil in a kadai, deep fry the mushrooms till it turns golden brown and crispy. Keep it aside.
3. In a wok, add oil. Let it heat up. Add chopped ginger and garlic, saute for a few seconds. Add the chopped green chillies and the dry red chillies and let them crackle.
4. Add the diced onions and capsicum and saute for a few seconds on a high flame.
5. Add the soy sauce and tomato ketchup, stir it for a while. Add the cornstarch, mix it in.
6. Add the fried mushrooms, toss it on a high flame till the sauce coats evenly.
7. Transfer it to a bowl, Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
Cooking Tips:
1. Check the taste of the dish after tossing it and add salt if necessary.
