Chilli garlic Noodles or chowmein is a Chinese noodles recipe but we Indians have adopted this food in a way that from street hawkers to fine dining restaurants, all of them serve their version of the noodles or chowmein. Indo-Chinese food has become very famous in India and is supposed to be spicy so that is why we have brought you this recipe of veg chilli garlic noodles. INGREDIENTS
3 Tbsp Cooking Oil
2 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Ginger, minced
¼ Cup Chilli Paste
1 Onion, sliced
½ Capsicum, diced
⅓ Cup Cabbage, sliced
½ Carrot, cut into roundels
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Tsp Vinegar
½ Tsp Soy Sauce
2 Cups Boiled Noodles
Green Onion, for garnish
STEPS
Step 1
In a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat and add garlic, ginger, and chilli paste. Saute for a few seconds and add onion, capsicum, cabbage, carrot, salt, pepper, vinegar, and soy sauce. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add the boiled noodles, toss gently, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Once cooked, remove from heat, transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with green onion and serve hot.
