Recipe:
Ingredients for Chili and Garlic Chutney:
1. 10-12 Dry Red Chilies (Soaked in water for 1-2 hours)
2. Ginger
3. 10-12 Garlic Cloves
4. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
5. 1 tsp pink salt
6. 1 tsp regular salt
7. 1 tsp chaat masala
8. Half tsp sugar
9. Juice of half a lemon
Grind these ingredients into a fine paste and the Chili and Garlic Chutney is Ready!
Ingredients for the Coriander and Mint Chutney:
1. 5 Green Chilies
2. 5-7 Garlic Cloves
3. Ginger
4. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
5. 1 tsp pink salt
6. 1 tsp regular salt
7. 1 tsp chaat masala
8. Handful of roasted chana.
9. Handful of Aalo Bhujia namkeen or any namkeen of your choice.
10. Juice of half a lemon
11. Handful of mint leaves
12. Handful of coriander leaves
Grind these ingredients together to form a fine paste.
Our Coriander and Mint Chutney is Ready!
Ingredients for Tamarind and Dates Chutney:
1. Seedless Dates
2. Tamarind
3. 1.5 tsp of red chili powder
4. 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
5. 1 tsp pink salt
6. 1 tsp regular salt
7. 1 tsp chaat masala
8. 1 tsp of coriander + Cumin Powder.
9. A cup of crushed jaggery.
Procedure:
1. Soak the seedless dates and tamarind overnight.
2. Grind them into a fine paste.
3. Pass them through a sieve.
4. Add it to a pot and add a the jaggery.
5. Keep it on low flame and add the red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, regular salt and pink salt.
6. Keep stirring and it will be ready in just a few minutes!
