I absolutely love chili…traditional, white, chicken, beef, you name it! I love to create new versions and this BigFoot Chili Mix works in all of them!

The BigFoot Chili Mix is versatile enough for adding to your favorite game day chili recipes and is super simple to prepare with a few basic ingredient items like: sauce, meat, veggies, ect.

Because I love time saving techniques in the kitchen, I created BigFoot Chili Mix recipe along with the BigFoot Chili Rub. It’s so simple to use and super convenient! Get your kids involved too and let them do the measuring and mixing!

INGREDIENTS & DIRECTIONS
2 lbs. Cubed or ground meat (Elk is Best)
1 – Package of BIG FOOT CHILI MIX
1 – Large onion – chopped.
1 – 28oz. can of diced tomatoes.
2 – Cups of water.
1 – Tablespoon of oil.
1 – 15oz. can of beans (optional-don’t add in parts of Texas…)

METHOD:
Heat the oil in skillet. Add the meat to the heated oil and brown it. Once browned, reduce the heat to low. Place meat and oil into a pot. Using the same skillet, add the onion and cook until tender. Add the onions to the meat in the pot. (Ideally-an enameled cast-iron pot works best) With the pot set on a lower-medium-temperature, add the BIGFOOT CHILI MIX to the meat and onions. Stir continually to “toast” the chili mix, bonding it to the meat and onions. Watch & Smell-Don’t let it burn! When it’s warm and smells good, slowly add the diced or crushed tomatoes and the water while stirring so that you “don’t wash” the chili mix off the meat. On medium-high, bring to a boil. When the chili begins to boil, turn the heat to low and (partially covered) for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally. Add the drained-beans for a few minutes more.

INSTANT-POT METHOD
Brown the meat. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot and stir. Cook for 30 minutes on the setting “Soup/Stew”. Add the drained-beans at the
end and rewarm.
