I am sharing two of my favorite ways to have cauliflower. The first one is gobi Manchurian, which is a popular Indo Chinese dish. Cauliflower florets deep fried in batter & then stir fired with capsicum & onion. This is a super delicious appetizer or main dish. Gobi manchurian satisfies both your savory & spicy cravings!
& The second one is Baked Cauliflower Ball, which is probably one of the best way to cook cauliflower as it is extremely delicious & addictive. In this way even those who say they don’t like cauliflower might change their mind. These cheese crispy little bites are remarkably & really irresistible

GOBI MANCHURIAN
INGREDIENTS
1 Cauliflower head
Salt
Water
For batter –
Âľ cup All Purpose Flour
2 tbsp Cornstarch
Salt
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Ginger Powder
1 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 tsp Soya Sauce
Oil – for frying
8 – 10 minute for frying
1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger
1 Onion
½ of a Red Bell Pepper
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
1 tbsp Chili Sauce
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp White Vinegar
1 tsp Scallions
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boil water & add salt
2. Wash &chop cauliflower into florets
3. Add florets to boiling water
4. Blanch for 2 minutes & remove in a bowl
1. In a bowl, add flour, cornstarch, salt, chili powder, ginger & garlic powder, soya sauce & water.
2. Whisk to a thick batter.
3. Add blanched cauliflower to the batter & coat well.
4. Deep fry for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
5. Remove on a paper towel
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add chopped ginger & garlic.
3. Sauté for 2 minutes.
4. Add red bell pepper, onion, tomato ketchup, chili sauce & fried cauliflower.
5. Add vinegar & coat well.
6. Turn off heat, remove in a serving bowl.
7. Sprinkle chopped scallions & serve.
BAKED CAULIFLOWER BALLS
Ingredients
½ of a cauliflower head
1 medium onion
2 tbsp Cilantro
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 Green Chili
Salt to taste
Crushed Black Pepper
2 tbsp Parmesan
ÂĽ cup grated Mozzarella
1 Egg
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
1. Cut most of the stem off the cauliflower floret. You mostly want to use the florets.
2. Boil cauliflower florets for 15 minutes
3. Mash boiled florets with fork. Add all the spices, cheese, egg & bread crumbs. Mix well
4. Make small balls & place them in a lined baking tray.
5. Brush olive oil.
6. Bake @ 180c preheated oven for 15 – 20 minutes.
7. Serve hot with ketchup.
