INGREDIENTS:
Boneless Cut Pieces of Fish – 1/2 kg
Cornflour – 2 tbsp
Black pepper – 1/4 tsp or to taste
MSG – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Diced Mixed bell peppers -1cup
Diced spring onions – 1 cup
Ginger garlic green chilli paste – 1 tbsp
Vinegar – 1 tbsp
Light Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Dark Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
Sriracha sauce (or any hot/chilli sauce) – 1 tbsp
METHOD:
First, mix cornflour, black pepper, salt and MSG with 1 egg to form a mixture for the fish to be covered in.
Dip the cut fish pieces in the mixture and fry till golden brown
Keep the fried fish aside.
Then In a wok, take little oil to saute the vegetables.
Saute the onions till pink. Add bell peppers, vinegar, soy sauces, sriracha sauce and black pepper (optional). Toss well all the vegetables.
Add fish to this mixture and mix well.
Adjust salt to taste
Garnish with spring onion greens!
Voila! Enjoy your crispy chilli fish. You can replace fish with chicken/prawns/tofu et al.
