➖➖➖ Chilli Paneer Recipe ➖➖➖

Ingredients:
For frying the paneer:
200 grams paneer cut into cubes
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp red chilli powder
water if needed to mix
oil for frying
For chilli paneer:
Oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon red chilli sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar, optional
1 tablespoon chopped ginger
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 green chilli sliced
1 medium onion quartered
1 green pepper cut into squares
Cornstarch slurry (Mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 3 tbsp water)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cut paneer into cubes and transfer them into a bowl. To a large bowl, add cornstarch, flour along with salt, red chilli powder.
2️⃣ Combine everything nicely. Add a little water if required. Coat each paneer piece properly
3️⃣ Heat oil in a pan/wok on medium heat. Add paneer cubes into the hot oil and fry from both sides
4️⃣ Heat oil in a wok. Add the ginger and garlic. Saute for a minute. Then add the quartered onion, peppers and green chillis. Cook for 2 minutes.
5️⃣ Add soy sauce, red chili sauce, vinegar and regular tomato ketchup. Add some water. You may also add some sugar here if you like. Then Add in the prepared cornstarch slurry after sometime. Mix well
6️⃣ Stir in the fried paneer cubes. Toss to combine the paneer with the sauce. Mix properly.
7️⃣ Garnish with green onions/ coriander leaves. Your dry Chilli Paneer is ready.
